Berhala island is island of Indonesia about 2.5 km². Located in the Berhala Strait between Jambi and Singkep. Riau Islands Province and Jambi province has been contested in relation to attribution. It is located in Tanjung Beringin District, Serdang Bedagei is being developed into a tourism object in North Sumatra. It is have beautiful wide and lands cape, have beautiful beach with white sand beach.
The transportation to reach the island is speed boat and traditional boat. It is limited on certain days. The distance from Belawan to Berhala Isaland is about 65 km. If we use a usual boat, it will take 4-8 hours. However, with super star which is equipped with GPS and a comfortable cabin, it only takes 1.5 hour. It evenly takes hour with super star sporty. The visitor can visit the island without having to spend the night because of the faster time needed. The absence of permanent accommodation, such as a resort, makes the Island's atmosphere feel natural
The diving activity can be done up to 10 meters deep in this isalnd, using the diving equipment which can be rented on the location. At the depth of 10 meters , the sea floor can be seen clearly. In the clear water, we can find a colorful park with algaes, seaweed and colorful reefs in their natural condition. Among them, groups of fish swim in their typical movement.

A lighthouse stands firmly as a guide for ships serving the strait Berhala because the Berhala island is surrounded by a cluster of small islands that have a growing asset to Jambi.
